Who will fill Anstee's shoes?
There is a lot of transitioning out going on these. Sven Goran Eriksson to Steve Maclaren (let's hope that handover lasts beyond Saturday), Bill Gates and his man Ray Ozzie and now, of course, Eric Anstee.
Having announced his decision to stand down, Anstee tells my colleague Kevin Reed in an interview yesterday (you can listen to it on AccountancyAge.com) that he hopes his own transition will be completed by the end of the year.
Whether that comes off is in the hands of the headhunter Boyden. Interestingly the executive search consultant has offices in 40 countries – this won't necessarily be a UK
Any bets on early favourites?

The ICAEW is already effectively a charity that wants to "give away" its qualification to ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA and politicians et al.
I do not object to posthumous awards - ie not just shoes - dead men's shoes.

The ICAEW big wigs should first sort themselves out (in total privacy) and then discuss their plans with Izza and/or a headhunter (if they must).
Flexible is commended as any prospect with a really powerful mind could make up for any initial deficiencies within three months.

I've heard some very disparaging remarks about the ICAEW from members in both large and small firms.
We need a change; people need to get off the ICAEW bus and the right people need to get on. Until that occurs I not convinced the ICAEW will head in the right direction.

height insoles are wedge-shaped blocks which slip in the heel portion of a shoe, with the purpose of adding lift under one or both feet for therapeutic reasons. People who endure foot pain from wearing shoes for a long time. Shoe inserts can reduce pain. Heel lifts are also useful for those who need to increase their height.
